Uranus is in Pisces and in Retrograde motion since around Summer Solstice (6.26.2008) till the end of November 2008 when it will go forward (11.27.2008). We come out of the Shadow period around Spring Equinox 2009.  Summer and Fall have given us an opportunity to REVIEW & RELEASE old patterns which are blocking true freedom, unity and this new world. 

   

Uranus in Pisces last happened during the 'Roaring 20s', when people were simultaneously restricted by material limitation, yet liberated through a truly unique creative expression (jazz exploded), women were emancipated (on one level, by the 'equal pay legislation'), rebellion (against prohibition), many technologies became commonplace (primarily cars, but TV, radio etc), the Harlem Renaissance and many more radical shifts in our expanding Global Community let us know a re-structuring was inevitable and most necessary.  And here we are again, with similar issues on the table, but on a grander scale.

  

During the Retrograde period, we all get a chance to go within and PROCESS all that this energy is stirring up, loosening our grip on old, worn out patterns and awakening the urge to be truly free.

     This is the BIGGIE ... of the month, of the year, of four DECADES! Saturn in Virgo Oppose Uranus in Pisces, which is going to have FIVE exact hits (3 is 'normal') over the next 2 years, anchoring then next 40+ years. These are two energies that get together like this every (approx) 42 years (half of the Uranus 84yr cycle) and they shake up our fundamental foundations and structures to bring in new life, new energy, new ideas and new directions. Needless to say this energy strongly affects the collective, the global community which is developing as we speak. But it also affects individuals strongly catalyzing major, life-changing shifts.
