Paying attention to the cycles and the energies available is only one of many ways to navigate your Path. During this transitional period in Earth's history, large themes of change and integration continue on a grand scale, personally and collectively. Pluto has recently gone Retrograde in Capricorn (April 4, 2009), giving you 6+ months to do some internal processing of the immense shifts going on within & around you. Every year, our transformation (Pluto) and Truth (Jupiter) and Deep Healing (Chiron) turn inward during Spring (returning to forward motion during Fall) in preparation for the deeper exploration Summer brings when several other planetary bodies change direction and ask you to consider your life from another point of view. Neptune just joined them (May 28th) to further the current healing process behind the scenes. And Uranus goes July 1st, initiating a process that will ultimately lead to your Fall Harvest. What do you want cleared and released by Fall Equinox? What do you want integrated and fully functioning by then too so you can initiate the new Solar year on Winter Solstice?

Saturn has been the guiding force, doing major solo work for the last year or two and is on a different schedule for now. The planet of form, structure, foundation & your definition of reality, is forward now (as of May 16, 2009), allowing you to begin implementing your new or improved systems for living (Virgo) and strengthen the structure (Saturn Direct) you have just spent 5+ months reviewing, purifying and healing. On the zodiacal wheel, Virgo is the last energy below the surface which prepares the individual for work out in the world, beginning with relating to others once it hits Libra. We are going to get a brief preview of things to come when Saturn dips in to Libra then Retrogrades back in to Virgo one last time next year. Then Saturn's work of structuring new relationships and restructuring old relationships will begin a 2+ year cycle of healing and integration. Libra absolutely rules the relationships we have with each other, but at this juncture in history, it is going to be even deeper as you discover your relationship with Mother Earth, society, community, the environment and more!

While these major planetary cycles are underway and affecting the collective, the more personal planets are zooming around the skies tapping each one these planets and engaging them on a personal level. Sun and Moon work your energy on a monthly basis, integrating and shifting and revealing the mundane lessons that you face to balance your inner and outer natures. Mercury is going to get your thinking in order this year so you can make your ideas useful and tangible. Finally, Venus and Mars continue to be the key to navigating 2009. What's most important to you and getting your priorities aligned within and without (Venus) & what you deeply desire aligning with your actions (Mars) is the theme of the year. We are in completely new territory and you really have to KNOW who you are and what you want because Pluto's trek through Capricorn is stripping everyone down to bare basics and will ping us on a very personal level 4 times a year for the next 16 years. Substance and individual responsibility on all levels is on the table. Those who have chosen appearances over actual substance will fail until they get an inner and outer alignment.

The Healing Trinity ~ Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune in Aquarius
The major initiation of the year is the Jupiter - Chiron - Neptune alignment. We have had the Lunar Nodes reshaping the human destiny through the Leo/Aquarius axis. They function along a similar cycle as the eclipses and we are finishing up this 2+ year process on both as we remember our Divine Spark within and re-learn how to love self and release ego drives (Leo) and how vitally important that is to a healthy, functioning community or collective consciousness (Aquarius). You must master Self-Love so your contribution to the Community is healthy and whole. Now here comes this Trinity of Healing to assist in the processing of the Aquarian lesson of detachment, vision and alternative *EVERYTHING* ... everything that supports a community that is. We must connect with alternative education, health care, energy & resources if we, as a species, are going to thrive and prosper. There is nothing innately "wrong" with this cycle, even if it is periodically uncomfortable, it is just time. We have evolved to a level where the old structures and old modes of thinking no longer work for the *GLOBAL* family. We've always been one species but perhaps were unaware of our sisters and brothers in other lands, now we can see, touch and communicate with them telepathically or through the internet and what is more "Aquarian Age" than that?!
*This dynamic is finishing its 2+ year cycle which initiates its 9 & 18 year cycle for Leo/Aquarius. It will then move on to the Cancer/Capricorn axis which will be amplified by Pluto's journey through Capricorn.

Venus/Mars in Taurus
The other delicious initiation happening in June, on/around Summer Solstice, is Venus and Mars getting together in Taurus, the sign deeply connected to Mother Earth, life, love, beauty and sustenance, are balancing, integrating and amplifying the masculine/feminine dynamics. This is a chance for you personally to integrate these two modes of getting things accomplished but also for the collective to move in to a new realm of expression in that regard too. I remind you here that masculine and feminine energy, Venus and Mars, are active principles within both men and women. And this is an incredible opportunity for *ALL* to embrace a more balanced approach to getting things done in the 3-D. There is a time and place for the masculine approach, however, at the moment we need the healing that the feminine approach can bring in to any equation. There is plenty of preliminary healing work to do before we can really build, and that too is completely supported by the planetary cycles. This Solstice is a chance to fully integrate your masculine and feminine nature within so you can make new choices and behave in new ways so you are more effective out in the world.

Sun/Mercury in Cancer & Pluto in Capricorn
The Saturn/Uranus opposition is ongoing, but adding to the mix is a little more personal re-balancing for everyone. The Equinoxes and Solstices are Solar cycles, Spring/Fall is always when the Sun is in Aries/Libra and Summer/Winter is always when the Sun is in Cancer/Capricorn. That automatically engages Pluto's 16 year journey through Capricorn. We are well on this Path of change (Spring/Fall) and integration (Summer/Winter). It would be wise to consider this on a personal level. Who are you? Who do you want to be? What needs to change completely? What needs to be better integrated? This is an incredible opportunity for marked growth in a relatively short period of time, depending on your personal mindset and outlook on change. But Pluto is still the planet of Death, Rebirth and Transformation and the Sun is still the planet of your Core Essential Self and Identity and when they get together, you are destined to be renewed on one or many levels. So my advice is to give it some time, energy and forethought ~ *CO-CREATE* ~ with the energies available.

It is the sign energies that will express the inherent lessons involved with each season. Aries/Spring is a time of birthing anew. Libra/Fall is a time for fair and unbiased assessment. Cancer/Summer is a time for nurturing and protecting that which you've created. Capricorn/Winter is a time for being responsible for the entire life ~ yours and all you've created ~ and using that perspective to set intentions for the coming year. Tune in to your natural rhythm. Tune in to nature's rhythm. Find the balance and compromise necessary to survive.

Mars/Venus in Aries & The Healing Trinity in Aquarius
This is energy that needs to be consciously directed to be useful but it is an opportunity for you to make leaps and bounds of progress if you can be pro-active (Mars) about your healing process and cultivate (Venus) that which facilitates wholeness within your Being. The lessons (till June 6th when Venus will enter Taurus and the lesson shifts) are Aries, identity and independence, and Aquarius, detachment and objectivity. It can be really challenging to see clearly what is going on when you are in the center of any intense lesson or shift, but it is well worth the effort to at least set an intention and then release it for the Universe to do its magic. We, as individuals, do not always know what's best and very often cannot even imagine the beautiful and miraculous outcomes the Universe serves up every time we get out of our way. So tune in to this energy and state your preference, but always close your prayer/affirmation with gratitude for "this or something better".

Venus/Mercury in Taurus & Uranus in Pisces
The beginning of July gives you an opportunity to anchor some of the awakening you've experienced this year so far. Both Venus and Mercury are well in to forward motion and your head should be clear, your priorities and values realigned and you will be well supported for experimenting with new modes of expression and changing your routine in fundamental ways.

Sun in Gemini & Saturn in Virgo + Uranus in Pisces
Gemini and Sagittarius time of year (this year and next) are always going to push you where the Saturn/Uranus opposition is concerned. June brings in the Gemini aspect of this friction which will make you grow in ways you wouldn't necessarily be able to if things were "easy". This is a chance for you to gather and process information about the 'old you' and the 'new you'. How is your current evolution going? This major opposition is affecting us individually and collectively, but when we are discussing the Sun's travels, it lands on the personal/individual side of things. Your core essential nature, who you are is really changing on one or many levels. Square aspects are a mixed blessing, on one hand you have to look your Self "square" in the eye and make some decisions (Gemini) and there is growth whether you participate consciously or not ... and on the other hand, you could feel like you're being pushed and pulled in unnatural ways that are ultimately painful because you are fighting change so hard. The key to this aspect is in your thinking! Change your mind and your reality will follow.

Venus/Mercury in Taurus & The Healing Trinity in Aquarius
By July 1st, Venus has moved out of Aries (fire/cardinal) and in to Taurus (earth/fixed). Aquarius energy takes a very broad view, and tends to do better with the spark (fire) of creativity, whereas Taurus wants more simple, practical, tangible concepts to engage them. Taurus is the 'toddler' on the karmic wheel, it can have a very narrow focus, especially if pressure is applied, as in this case of forced growth. Adding to that pressure, things get more challenging as your earthly reality, resources and preferences are tested by the things the Healing Trinity is bringing in to the light. This, however, is a golden opportunity to make great strides if you can commit to "taking your medicine" (nasty though it may initially taste) for your ultimate well-being. This, of course, comes customized for each individual's particular 'ailment' of now. The key lies in getting your priorities straight and increasing your level of dedication to your own healing so you are better able to serve the community, getting out of "me-me-me" and on to "we-we-we".

Mercury in Gemini & Saturn in Virgo
When Mercury hits Gemini, it will ping Saturn in a way that may get you on your own head trip, try not to stay in that "spin" too long. Gemini energy makes you think too much and brings up all these minute bits of information, while Virgo will hold you hostage analyzing. Let's get out of that mode of expressing these energies, and move in to grounding (Saturn) your thinking (Mercury) in more practical, useful, healthy (Virgo) ways. If you are going to analyze your reality (Mercury/Saturn) then at least be willing to modify some definitions, that will free you up a bit and be willing to be responsible for your thoughts, ideas and certainly any communication you feel called to do. This is a time of 'personal growth' so it may be more prudent for you to maintain your focus on self at the moment and keep in mind you are not the only one processing all these intense energies, powerful shifts and radical changes.

Mars/Venus in Taurus & Pluto in Capricorn
Early June brings rewards and recognition for the work you've done on integrating your masculine and feminine energies within. If you have taken responsible actions (Mars) and cultivated strong, healthy relationships (Venus), then Pluto will recognize you by allowing miraculous transformations to take place in your personal life. The key is purity of intent, no manipulation allowed, but authentic work on self and relationships will yield unbelievable results.

Mars/Venus in Taurus & Saturn in Virgo
Around Solstice, you will get some beautiful support for who you are within the context of your relationships which will ultimately be healing for all involved. This is a very grounded and practical energy that will complement the other potent energies kicking around that time, not the least of which is a Cancer New/Super Moon - Solar Eclipse that is ushering in a new beginning of how you nourish your Being and your relationships. You are beautifully supported for initiating a new cycle of creativity that will feed you on a soul level while also providing safety and comfort to those in need. It is a very powerful time of new beginnings and with Saturn in Virgo in the mix, you can anchor things for a very long time to come if you are practical about the big picture and cognizant of the little things that hold it all together.

Sun/Mercury in Gemini & The Healing Trinity
Shortly before the Sun moves in to Cancer, it aligns in the later degrees of Gemini with the Healing Trinity giving you a boost to the healing work you are doing at this time. Around July 1st Mercury, your thoughts & ideas, will get in on the mix too. Be sure to consciously tune in to the highest possible intent you can conjure because the Sun is your core self getting this boost. For those with Sun Signs of Gemini, this will be a tremendous push forward, others will hopefully experience a 'change of thinking' that allows a broader perspective and willingness to experiment.

May 2009 ushered in a major *INITIATION* and I want to remind you that all beginnings are delicate and require care and thoughtfulness. With Mercury recently Direct, you've had time to turn within, meditate, review your journals or notes, commune with your Higher Self and other realms while calling on your angels and guides to assist in this magnificent process that Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune bring. The orb of influence is the entire year of 2009 (and beyond actually) but very concentrated *NOW*. These three together is enough, but the additional planetary support is going to further expand, amplify and broaden your reach for years to come.

Take some time for the next couple of weeks to focus on what you want to *CREATE* with this unprecedented Universal support for healing so many things on so many levels. Use the upcoming Sagittarius Full Moon June 7th to link in to the Healing Trio to release anything no longer necessary to your Story, your Truth. On a personal level, it is time to be *SOUL-Centered*. It's time to learn and teach through story-telling, theatre and games in small or large groups of people if/when possible. And with Jupiter going Retrograde (June 15th) it is a perfect time to RE-WRITE your personal story. It is also a great time to detoxify (anything that needs it, body, mind, spirit, emotions etc). This is a chance to breathe life in to that which has been dormant for the last 12 years (or longer for some) and connect with your creative fire in a way that will heal your Soul and serve others in magical and unpredictable ways.

If you are consciously contributing to the collective, this is the best time to tune in to alternative healing, education, energy and resources. It's time to think outside the box and find the creative solutions that serve the greater good and greatest number of souls. We have access to wisdom where technology and spirituality are concerned. We can use our collective energy and resources, that includes knowledge, information & technology, to uplift rather than suppress humanity ~ to care for Mother Earth, who provides ALL sustenance and beauty ~ to nurture and protect *LIFE* rather than surrendering to complicity, apathy and neglect. It's time to acknowledge the many dimensions of the Universe and the diversity of our galaxy, believing nothing but entertaining the possibility the power and intelligence in that which we may not fully grasp or tangibly see and touch.

Summer Solstice will bring in some much needed integration and the Cancer energy will make everyone feel more focused on home, sacred space and nurturing than usual. The Cancer New/Super Moon - Solar Eclipse will begin the new cycle of eclipses now in Cancer/Capricorn, adding intensity and power to an already emotional mix so breathe, focus and take your time ~ *DIGEST* all that has come and gone in recent months (and years). Use the Summer of Retrogrades to pull inward and process how much you've grown and changed, while still acknowledging the work left to do. Doing the inner work will be so worth it come Fall when you will do your assessment of how far you've come since Fall 2008 and will give you a better handle on what intentions you'd like to set come Winter Solstice.

I remind you that every step you take is leading you to the next step, so lighten your load by releasing that which is no longer relevant or useful to the journey you are on, practice "present moment" thinking and don't mourn *CELEBRATE*!! If you're reading this, you've come a long way and have been fortified in ways you may not fully grasp at the moment but which will become abundantly clear in the moment you call these new talents, understanding and consciousness to the surface to respond to whatever life sends your way next. Remember, you don't need to worry about 'what' may happen or 'how' you're going to handle it ~ all you need to concern your Self with is being strong, fortified and balanced so you can handle *ANYTHING*.
