... the transitional time between Winter Solstice and Spring Equinox, when the veils between light and dark, known and unknown, past and future are thinner. It is these times you should pause, reflect and receive messages from Divine Spirit, The Universe and all your Invisible Helpers and Guides ... who only know how to speak through your Heart and your Soul, that is, when they are invited and when you are still and quiet.

The seeds you planted, the work behind the scenes that you initiated and have been doing since Spring Equinox 2008, are *ALL* hitting a critical stage of development. March 2008 ... Where were you? Who were you? What were your priorities? (Need a refresher? Click Here for Spring Equinox 2008 Special Newsletter) Now ... Which priorities got initiated and anchored since then? How's your focus? discipline? consistency? How are you experimenting with new ways of thinking, speaking, doing and BEING in the world? Think "1-yr-old": certain awarenesses and abilities develop over the first year of any 'life'.

... the Messenger who rules transitional times (dusk/dawn) and crossroads, has been going over Aquarius /Capricorn territory for the last 3 weeks, bringing to the surface ideas you may have been attached to for a very long time but which may have little or nothing to do with your current reality. Detachment and Responsibility are also up for review. Some of you are being nudged to connect with your Divine Spark and how that fits in to the story of *now*. Mercury's energy will assist with clarifying those good ideas, releasing those aspects which no longer support growth and development and move you forward in Capricorn's grounding, practical, responsible energy. What can you *DO* with the ideas you're kicking around? How can you test them for validity and effectiveness? And, after Feb 15th (Mercury out of Shadow period) how can you bring them forth, back through Aquarius again, ready to express your essential nature better ~ as well as ~ to better serve the community on a whole new level?

... and now moves toward a Retrograde covering the ground which will be reviewed between March 6th (retrograde) and April 18th (direct - shadow period ends mid-May). The whole point of any planet going Retrograde is to bring up the issues of its domain, in Venus' case, values, priorities and resources. It brings these issues to the surface, essentially getting your attention in a way that (hopefully) will prompt you to want to explore more deeply (retrograde) before charting the course of future forward movement (when direct and out of shadow) when you will have acquired more clarity and sure-footedness.

Aries is primarily about identity and birthing of the new, it is the energy that guides our first steps in to ANYTHING (when we're talking astrology). It represents a new beginning, independence and courage in the face of the unknown, it's fiery and passionate and loves to initiate EVERYTHING. So consider this next 4 months (Feb - Jun 2009) your literal and figurative RE-BIRTH (Aries) where your values and priorities (Venus) are concerned. What is most important to you has likely shifted dramatically since 2001, and will shift again by 2017.

Venus has an 8 year Cycle, and last did this (Retrograded in Aries) in March 2001, so how have your values evolved over the last 8 years where your identity, independence and courage are concerned? How would you like to evolve over the next 8 years? Venus energy focuses your attention on what you deeply value or what you give your resources to, which tells the Universe what you truly value. How did you spend your time, energy and money over the last cycle? How will/must that change going forward?

... bringing fire to the party already well under way (making that 7 planets in Aquarius at the moment). This is so beautiful, how the Universe brings exactly what we need, right when we truly need it. As Venus moves in to Aries shifting our focus to Self on a very deep level sure to affect the collective, Mars moves in to Aquarius in the 11th House of Community & Ideals. So again, we are reminded to do self-work in a softer, more feminine way and do our community work in a more masculine, pro-active way. Mars brings fiery passion to whatever is going on and, right now, it is creative innovative ways to live on this planet *TOGETHER*.

Mars in Aquarius' Highest expression is what Raven Kaldera, who wrote Mythastrology, calls, "The Organizer of Creation, Magician, Master of Ritual and Incantation, Mediator Between Gods and Men; the god of wisdom and knowledge; the inventor god who invented ideas instead of people or nature." He goes on to say that this particular deity was specifically assigned the task of "creating the ritual spells used to make a particular activity possible / sacred / blessed / competent / fortunate ~ rituals intended to partly find the socially acceptable method of doing something and partly to ensure success." Mars is the planet of action and passion, what gets us fired up and ready to *DO*. Aquarius is all about consciousness and *COMMUNITY* ~ teaching us about the unity of planet Earth's boundless diversity.

... add to the mix Venus' angle ('squaring off') to Pluto, Lord of Transformation, an angle which demands change, growth and evolution. These two energies MUST find a way to evolve and co-exist at a higher level, in Aries and Capricorn, which means individual and societal; independence and responsibility are working it out. Pluto distills things (The Purifier) on all levels so you can move forward CLEAN. This is potent timing and powerful energy to be working with, use it wisely. These energies will produce tangible results, with or without your conscious participation, so at least set an intention in your mind and heart. Any investment you make will have a 10-fold return and you will be a whole new Being come Summer Solstice 2009. You and your immediate world are (or will be soon) in brand new territory. Aries is *The Fool* in the Tarot, which takes that first step in to the unknown, heart pounding with fear as well as excitement, and Trusts Spirit, the Universe and its own Instincts / Inner Guidance to lead the way.

... for the second in a series of *5* activations over 2008 - 2010. The last time these energies got together like this was 1965-1967. It is my opinion that the seeds planted in the 1960's are ripe and ready to evolve from seed in to *LIFE* in a tangible way, on multiple levels. The Virgo/Pisces axis indicates we've been incubating, in the womb for 43 years, until that last *push* (July 2010) when Saturn dips in to Libra right as Uranus rebirths in Aries, initiating its new 84 year Cycle. This is a major opportunity, individually and collectively, to heal many aspects of our living structure (body and earth) so we can obtain Oneness and enlightenment. ... is going to allow a release of any blockages to the *REAL YOU*. This activation comes every *9* and *18* years so soak it up. This is an opportunity to reconnect with your most fiery, creative and authentic Self. As we move in to this new age, value on substance versus the superficial is going to become key to your success on any level. The only Water energy in the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse chart is Uranus in Pisces, so you will be operating more consciously through your Earth (creating), Air (expressing) and Fire (expanding) but the Water (feeling) that comes through Uranus may be the "A-Ha Moment" or "Moment of Clarity" you get when you act on instincts and have positive results.

... with only two more meetings in our lifetime, I thought it relevant that Neptune is only in Aquarius for about 14 years (1998 - 2011) and then it will be 168 years before that energy is this available for us again. This is a long process of integration, which is also moving toward the end of the zodiac, ending yet another gigantic cycle. Neptune reminds you that you are multi-dimensional and part of an Infinite Universe. It reminds you that *feelings* are important and there are no words for the most beautiful, magical things you can experience on this planet, in your lifetime.

... Venus in Aries (Fire) is going to lovingly tap Mars/Jupiter in Aquarius (Air) to ensure her contribution to the mix is made. This is an opportunity warm things up amongst that group. Ideas and passions and truth are all good, but Venus says, love and humanity and art and beauty are equally as necessary. If you have an opportunity to socialize at all, and especially if it is among other like-minded souls, expanding their awareness of themselves and each other, then all the better!

... the gift of this powerful duo is: just and right action; the challenge is self-righteousness. All of the energies we're dealing with this month are major, and several are extremely rare, this one is no exception. This activation is giving you the energy (Mars) to expand (Jupiter) your world on personal and collective levels. Aquarius, will (hopefully) will bring the detachment these two passionate planets need to be useful. Aquarius is the brilliant ideas, Jupiter anchors them in Truth and Mars gives you the courage to try something *NEW* ~ expand your identity ~ check your ego at the door and look for ways to *SERVE* without attachment or expectation. It is time to find some aspect of humanity or the global family (Aquarius) bigger (Jupiter) than you (Mars) that you are willing to passionately commit to and unconditionally contribute to, being completely aware that the results of your actions will only serve *FUTURE GENERATIONS* and you may or may not live long enough to physically witness these results. You must *ACT* (Mars) on *FAITH* (Jupiter) that we are *ALL* truly connected (Aquarius).

... Sun in Pisces brings deep sensitivity about Self and meets up with Pluto in Capricorn which brings up the major shift in your responsibilities and contribution, personally and professionally. This angle is an opportunity that must be worked consciously or you may miss out on some of the benefits. Be mindful of your perceptions of the changes taking place within and around you. It is bringing many issues to the surface of your consciousness to remind you that flow (Pisces) requires a structure (Capricorn) to be useful and effective (Sun) in these transformational times (Pluto). Recognizing what changes you have to make is the first step, then gathering juice (energy) to carry out your chosen mission.
