2009 Eclipses ~ Leo/Aquarius ...
This year we have *SIX* eclipses shaking things up in the most miraculous ways. Four is 'normal' for the course of a year, so you know we are in for quite a ride. Eclipses are considered 'course correctors' and bring on shifts you really cannot plan for ... other than to set your INTENTIONS. Intent is *KEY*. If you are ready to change, they are the welcome assistance that catapults you to the next level. If you resist change, they hang you upside down by the ankles and shake you till you surrender. (Got the visual?) It is well worth your time to write down the things you are ready to change and would invite the invisible assistance to help you with, and you might add that anything you are not quite ready to change at this time, may the currents shifts *gently* move you in to a position of acceptance and readiness.

2009 Lunar Node ~ Aquarius ...
The other thing to note about eclipses is that the effects reverberate for 6-months to 2+ years. A general rule of thumb is that during the 'shake up' (or 'shake down'), it is hard to fully grasp what is happening or specifically changing, so it takes about 6-months to clarify and 2+ years to fully process the shifts. It usually becomes abundantly clear about 6-months later what/how you are changing, and then massages those changes in to your world over 2+ years. Additionally, eclipses are on a similar cycle as the Lunar Nodes, which represent our collective destiny and current lifetime. This suggests that *Shift Happens* (Eclipses) to facilitate you fulfilling your chosen *Destiny* (Nodes). You will feel less confused and victimized if you tune-in to this cycle.

Both Nodes & Eclipses have 9 and 18 year cycles (9 being the halfway mark; 18 being completion/initiation). So, the current North Node is in Aquarius and 9 years ago, the Lunar North Node was in Leo and the Eclipses year fell on the Leo/Aquarius axis (1998-1999). What shifted in your life that you can look back on and say, "that was fate or destiny" ~ "I was shifted irreversibly, the manner or mode or whatever facilitated the "shift" is irrelevant". Remember the polarities all work together, so Leo/Aquarius takes its turn every 9 and 18 years to teach you more about your inner light and love, who you are and what makes you special (Leo) ... as well as detachment, objectivity and the ability to use your special gift to better your community/your world (Aquarius). During 1998-2000, what did you learn about your core Self, your essential nature that was changing at the time? Now, how have you activated, embraced, embodied, and cultivated your special gift since then? Is it ready to contribute to the community (Aquarius NOW 2008-2010)?

At this juncture, I recommend you reflect on August 2008 when the *FIRST* set of Leo/Aquarius Eclipses since 9-years ago and is now initiating another 9-18 year cycle. This is most obvious for anyone with strong Leo/Aquarius energies in their chart (and wherever those signs fall in your individual chart, is where you are being activated at this time; this will be included with the Tele-Class Special). Overall, we will have 5 Eclipses on this Leo/Aquarius axis (2008-2009) and 5 Eclipses to deal with in 2009 alone:

It appears that we need the *EXTRA* Release (full moon) where 'breaking patterns and old habits' (lunar eclipse) are concerned because of the odd and *5th* Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius ...

According to my friend and numerologist, Nan Fortune, 5 is the number of: change, birth, innovation, new experience, the senses, the unconventional, the unexpected.

The Aquarius aspect of this suggests that you need to detach from anything you are hanging on to or clutching that is truly no longer necessary for WHO you are now and WHERE you are now (in your evolution). Consider 2009 as the year you release all blockages to loving and being your authentic and highest Self ... and the year you experiment with new ways of living, loving and serving.

*The Cancer/Capricorn Eclipses this year are initiating a major 2 year period that will be in conjunction with Pluto's first years in Capricorn as well as the North Node, which will move from Aquarius in to Capricorn July 26, 2009. These will re-activate energy last felt in 2000 and before that, 1990.
